The purposes of this research are to reduce hygiene
problems and to increase pupils’ interest during the teaching and learning
process in “Bidang Membuat Corak dan Rekaan” by using ‘Soapy Method’ during
Marbling activities. Research participants were 10 pupils from Year 4,
consisting of 5 boys and 5 girls. Researcher used observation, interview and
document research to collect data. The results showed that there was positive
increase of pupils’ interest while hygiene problems can be reduced by 100
percent. The results from this research have shown with the application of
‘Soapy Method’ in teaching and learning, the objectives could be achieved. In
conclusion, this research on the application ‘Soapy Method’ as innovation media
in experimenting marbling activities among Year 4 pupils.
